How much is a taxi from Mojácar to the airport?
We work on fixed fares: we tell you the price when you book and that is what you pay. No meter, no luggage supplements, no surprises on arrival.
A fixed fare, not a meter
This is the question we are asked most on the phone, and the honest answer is that it depends on the journey. What we can promise is how you will be charged: a price agreed before you travel.
Tell us where from, where to, how many of you there are and the date, and we give you a figure. That figure does not change because the motorway is busy, because your flight is late or because you turn up with an extra suitcase.
That is the difference between a transfer and flagging down a cab. On an airport run, watching a meter tick over is the last thing you need.
What makes a transfer cost more or less
Distance
The main factor. Almería is about an hour from Mojácar, Murcia around an hour and a half, and Alicante roughly two and a half hours.
The further you go, the more a fixed price works in your favour — on a long run, a meter is a gamble.
How many of you
A saloon and a 9-seater are not the same price, but one large vehicle is almost always better value than two cars.
If there are six or more of you, ask us directly — the per-person difference usually surprises people.
Time of day
Very early departures and late-night pick-ups are priced differently, as with any transport service.
What matters is that you know when you book, not when you arrive.
Booking both legs at once
If you already know your return date, book both journeys together. It is not just convenience: it guarantees a vehicle on the day you fly home, which in July and August is the thing that actually runs out.
Plenty of people book the outbound leg, enjoy the holiday, and then discover on the last evening that there is nothing available at six the next morning. It is an easy problem to avoid.
Questions about pricing
Does the price include luggage?
Yes. We do not charge a supplement for suitcases. If you are bringing something bulky — a surfboard, golf clubs, a wheelchair — tell us when you book so we send the right vehicle, but it does not change the price.
What if my flight is delayed?
You do not pay for the wait. We check the real arrival time before setting off and adjust the pick-up. A delay caused by the airline is not your problem.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, we take cards and bank transfers. For companies we can quote in advance and invoice monthly.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. For a standard transfer there is no advance payment: you book, we confirm the price, and you pay on the day.
Is the price per vehicle or per person?
Per vehicle. Whether there are two or nine of you, the agreed price is for the journey — which is why it works out much better per head for a group.
