How long does it take from Murcia to Mojácar?
Región de Murcia International Airport at Corvera (RMU) is about 140 kilometres from Mojácar, roughly an hour and a half on the motorway.
Although it is further than Almería, for most British travellers it is the natural choice: more frequent flights and often cheaper fares. That easily makes up for the extra half hour in the car.
Times are approximate, with no stops and in normal traffic.
Getting here from Corvera

Should I fly to Murcia or Almería?
It depends on the fare. Almería is closer, but Murcia usually has more flights and better prices. The difference by road is about half an hour, so flying into Corvera often works out better overall.
How early should I leave Mojácar?
Allowing an hour and a half for the drive, most people leave around four hours before an international departure. Tell us the flight and we will refine it.
Do you also collect from San Javier airport?
Yes. Commercial flights now operate from Corvera, but we cover San Javier and anywhere else in the Murcia region.
